Rotomolding software for the spider and the schedule
RotoSpider is mold layout software for rotational molding. Give it the machine's arm, straight or offset, its spider, and the molds you want on it, each with the shape it has: a box, an L shape, a slope, a drawn footprint or, on the desktop, a CAD file. It places them, checks the rotation envelope, clearance and overhang, and names what did not fit and why. Slide, turn or lift a mold in the 3D view and the layout follows.
RotoScheduler is production scheduling software for a rotomolding plant. Orders go onto machines, arms and cycles on a board you read by month, week or day, with each arm's service, oven and cooling time drawn. Move a run and see where it may go; RotoSpider checks the fit of each mold group on the arm before it becomes scheduled work. An order carries its minimum, wanted and maximum quantity, the machines it may run on and a start-by day.
